Lt. Governor Frank Brogan Presents SLCRC Awards!

The St. Lucie County Republican Club was thrilled to have Lieutenant Governor Frank T. Brogan present the club's Second Annual Republican Man and Woman of the Year awards at a special dinner the evening of November 18th. A long-time resident of the Treasure Coast, Lt. Governor Brogan says he is proud to help honor some of the area's finest Republicans. And we at the SLCRC are honored the lieutenant governor joined us for this important event.

The Republican Woman of the Year is Diamond Litty, Public Defender for the 19th Judicial Circuit. A person known for her active community involvement, Diamond's office has been called a model for public defenders statewide.

State Representative Ken Pruitt is the 1999 Republican Man of the Year. Ken has been instrumental in the passage of numerous legislative acts of benefit to residents of the Treasure Coast, and he is one of the most respected Republicans in Tallahassee.

The honorees receive their awards from SLCRC 1999 President Bill Minton.
